Video: Get the word out.

Fri Jun 20, 2008 at 01:13:46 PM PDT

I came across this video on Youtube, and I will post it here, and provide you with links to contact the media to show your displeasure with the current lack of stories on John McCain's flip-flopping on issues that are super-important.

CNN: http://www.cnn.com/...

MSNBC: NBC News

New York, N.Y. 10112

FOX: http://www.foxnews.com/...

Or, just blog some more! But we NEED to get the medias attention however possible. John McCain is breaking the law, and John McCain is flip-flopping and using the American people. Stop Bush's third term!

Video: McCain's Campaign is super organized!

Thu Jun 19, 2008 at 06:24:28 PM PDT

I thought I would share a simple 4 1/2 minute long video, from JohnMcCaindotcom on Youtube. Although I know it is meant to be silly, I really think this shows the whole McCain philosphy. Such as campaign staffers sleeping in the luggage hold, and buying buses off ebay for an "undisclosed amount". Oh, and it also captures his maverick-y attitude... It is the "Straight Talk Express".

I am hoping, and I am hopeful.

Sun Jun 15, 2008 at 06:01:48 AM PDT

Honestly, I have been finding hope hard to come by in this season, but this video right here gives me hope. Hope that the next generation knows what is going on... I have honestly thought that the younger generations were just feeding off their parents ideas. And that we would churn out thousands who do not know anything real about what happened under Bush or what could happen under Republican leadership, such as John McCain.
Sorry for the short diary, just thought people would like to see this video and have some more hope that we will beat John McCain.

2nd enviromentalist scales nytimes building [updated]

Thu Jun 05, 2008 at 12:50:26 PM PDT

A man climbed all the way up the Times building. Since it is built with metal rods, it is almost like climbing up a ladder. At the ninth floor he posted a sign "Global Warming kills more people than 9/11 every day"

Alain Robert was arrested at around 12:22 p.m. this afternoon when he reached the roof of hte 52 story building.

He was to be taken to the Midtown South police precinct, where charges are pending.

Before he reached the top, Robert managed to post a sign on the side of the Times building.

This is truly unbelievable, people inside, and outside of the building were astonished. He is being charged with tresspassing. I am sorry if this has already been covered. Well, at least it was for the enviroment.

Oh, and if you guys have never seen the Nytimes building before, it's super cool.

How will I help?

Thu May 29, 2008 at 03:02:30 PM PDT

As an Obama camp refugee (Clinton can't win, come on!). I was wondering what I could do to help Barack get a democrat into office in the general election (honestly, at the time of writing, I am shocked we still have 235 days with this guy). But, how will I help? I am thirteen, and my parents cannot be partisan, how can I get a button if I can't pay by credit card? How can I volunteer, if I don't know where the nearest HQ is? (I live in Southern Westchester, if you see something, say something). So, I write this short diary to ask, how will I do it, and how do you? I'm sorry it breaks the rules, but it is a question I need to be answered.

Thanks.

"Barack 08" - Smart People

I'm mad, here's why:

Sun May 18, 2008 at 01:36:22 PM PDT

After a long primary season, that is wrapping up, some Clinton supporters cannot admit they have lost. But what really upsets me, is the Clinton supporters who have come to a realization that she won't win, but decide to vote McCain, or do NOTHING about it. As a former Clinton supporter, (obviously a better democrat than Clinton-ite). Let's move on! Stop bickering! But no, here in innocuous (yep) Southern Westchester, frolicking amongst stock-brokers, people are being idiots.

Our Russian Problem

Sat May 17, 2008 at 05:16:18 PM PDT

Sure, we are in debt to China, but Russia may be the new world superpower. Much of our concern pertains to China's rise in economic standing, and our rising debt to the communist country. So I raise this question, was it prudent to recognize Kosovo's independence as a nation? Sure, freedom is great, but on diplomatic stance, with frostier relations against the Russians, was it a good move? I think not. Dmitry Medvedev's inauguration was a short time ago, May 7th.

My stand for change...

Fri May 16, 2008 at 12:30:53 PM PDT

For weeks and weeks, I prowled around at school wearing my Hillary pins etc. I was a big fan, I spent hours of my time handing out fliers to obnoxious early morning Southern Westchester stock-brokers... I spent long nights in delirium, screaming about wins. Dreaming of Hillary taking the oath of office. It did not happen. I became bitter, depressed, angry, when my realization came, but now I am proud that I can stand for change, and for Obama.

Hillary Supporters: Come back, it's over.

Mon May 12, 2008 at 05:41:27 PM PDT

Hillary supporters, as much as you want to believe that Hillary will win, it won't happen. She will not make it legal for people in England to vote. She won't go back in time and stop the Louisiana Purchase. It just won't happen.    So, as a Hillary supporter, I ask everyone to come back to the Daily Kos, and to write about how to beat John McCain. Clinton supporters who boycotted the website because of it's leaning towards Obama should start reuniting with the party. Hillary can not win the Democratic Nomination.

It is over.

Thu May 08, 2008 at 03:42:10 PM PDT

Barack is the nominee, and it is over. But let Hillary go out with dignity. I was a die hard Clinton supporter, and I will volunteer for hours to help Barack get into the White House. I hope he does, and I hope he is great. Any Clinton supporters who are still clinging to hope, please, don’t stay bitter, just vote for the democrat. I assure you, McCain is much worse than any democrat. And although our candidate has lost, we can hold our heads up, help Barack win, and be part of the generation of change.

Thanks

BREAKING: New Russian President

Wed May 07, 2008 at 06:53:35 AM PDT

Dmitry Medvedev was inaugurated today, in front of 2300 people, dignitaries, mainly. He wasted no time in naming Vladimir Putin as PM. Several people have called him a more "post-Soviet" man. He seems more isolationist, but he will probably continue with a large portion of Putin's legislation, including helping the middle class, and making the economy stronger.

It's Trash.

Tue May 06, 2008 at 05:06:42 PM PDT

This website. Is crap. It used to be about the environmental and the anti-GOP articles, now it has a raging bias, and is not objective, or useful anymore. It used to be great, so what happened? The election started. Please. re-start Dkos. It sucks. An anti-Clinton bias is very apparent, I think kos should work to make it so Clinton supporters can at least talk, but everyone treats them with utter contempt. It is not fair, or just to insult blindly. It was a two-party system, now, a three party system. Can we repair ties, and write about the issues that count, like the (all important) Senate filibuster? If we don't get 61 seats, the GOP can kill any piece of legislation the Democrats want to push through.

Thanks.

A cult. Yes.

Sun May 04, 2008 at 08:11:45 AM PDT

Ladies and gentlemen, Barack Obama's campaign is a cult. Sure, I will be blasted for this, but this is my last time on the website. (choppy waters). This campaign is a level of extremism that has never been seen before (Obama supporters trampling private property). Obama has prompted something, something fanatical, but political idealism has gotten us dissappointment over and over again. "Hope 08" and "Change" seem to be fairly empty.

Why are we so entranced? Why do we think he is a bridge-builder? Why don't we think. The difference between Hillary and Barack's campaigns are few. Just the lobbyists... So why is everyone on this biased website ready to shoot down anything that happens in Hillary's campaign, even if it is good?

This man, Barack Obama, is not a god. Think, before you fantasize. Bill Clinton was, good, but we had the same expectations of him. Should we have a president who will no doubt, have growing pains?

Reverend... Testify!

Tue Apr 29, 2008 at 06:26:42 PM PDT

arack Obama has a problem. And it isn't a band of bitter townspeople waving pitchforks. It is a flaming preacher who could singlehandely destroy the Barack Obama "movement" (the cynics want us to use the word campaign! Well no!) Typical Barack right there.

Anyway, I am quite happy about this. Today it finally seems Barack has thrown Reverend Wright under the political bus, fueled by E85 Ethanol... This may seem like a good strategy, but Wright will be on the hunt for revenge. He was a friend, and he may want to get back at Obama. But how?

He has already done so much (God damn America, AIDs by gov't to kill blacks...), but he could start a long feud with Obama, that could turn into something nasty for both Obama and the DNC. If Obama does snag the nomination, that could be easily exploited by John McCain and co. So, if Wright does keep talking, democrats have to hope that Hillary can win, John McCain is eager to become president, and we're eager to stop him.

Why McCain's veep choice is scary...

Thu Apr 24, 2008 at 06:12:01 AM PDT

This year is a landmark year, either a woman, an african american, or a 71 year old will become president (How old is Ralph Nader? Only joking...) Now, I think Hillary and Barack are competent. I think McCain is an incompetent fool. But hey. But what worries me, is McCain's vice presidential choice. Not to scare people. The guy is old. And if he picks a guy (Yes, that includes Condi) he wins, what if something happens to the oldest president ever? We could be in for a ride on the huck-coaster. Yikes.

No Dodging Here!

Wed Apr 23, 2008 at 05:40:45 AM PDT

Now, as hostile as Dkos is, I will post this: Hillary won last night, nobody is willing to acknowledge that. You are just talking about how she is still down and out. Give her some credit! She won a state she was outspend 3/1 in, and as far-fetched as her winning this election may be, she still has a shot.

Cheating by Obama?

Tue Apr 22, 2008 at 12:17:08 PM PDT

A friend in Pennsylvania left me this message:

Major barack conspiracy! Bo has 5 delegates on the ballot, 2 males and 3 females
Hillary has 2 males and 2 females

It recommends on the ballot that 5 delegates are chosen. 3 females and 2 males

On alternates, there are 2 Clinton, male and female and 1 obama male. It recommends 1 male

Someone called state rep mario scavello and he said the guidelines were per request of obama!

Big Mo's shocking cry for help!

Wed Mar 19, 2008 at 06:21:28 AM PDT

I love this, a chance to trash Maureen Dowd. Ah, Mo, destroyer of all persons unfit to lead our country. Hmmm, looking over her op-ed pieces... there isn't a single person who is fit to lead the country. Well, Maureen, if we really trusted your judgement, we would have already pledged our alliegance to Ron Paul. (or did you just skip him because he doesn't matter)? Thank you so much for your commentary! Ruining the election in 2000 for us, and then making our party implode during the primaries. Every week if it wasn't about Hill-zilla it was about Obama and his shortcomings. So, all who read this I urge you to ignore Mo's cry for attention. Try some Gail Collins. Hey Maureen, why don't you run for president? You seem to know exactly whats wrong with everyone else.
